ABOUT US
Andh Kalyan Kendra was established on the auspicious day of Dussehra. The rehabilitation center for adult blind women was started in Ranip in the year 1980.
The blind women, who are inmates of the institute are provided expert training free of cost in:

Home science (housekeeping)

Using computers
-
Playing musical instruments
-
Making items such as:
-
Doormats
-
Rakhis
-
Necklaces
-
Candle sticks
-
Diwali lamps
-
Rangolis
-
Paper cups
-
Etc.
At present over 100 blind or differently abled women are staying at the institute, free of cost. Several blind and Para blind women studying in colleges or serving are also provided with free lunch, dinner as well as residential facilities.
